We use fresh milk in our beautiful bars, but don’t worry, fresh milk doesn’t go off in cold-processed soaps like ours as the fats and oils are saponified (that’s a fancy word for turning fat and oil into soap through a specific chemical reaction) and that prevents bacteria from forming. We like to use Olive Oil, Coconut Oil, Cocoa Butter and milk fats to keep them moisturising for the skin.
Cleansing bars have been around for centuries, and when mixed with some warm water and rubbed into your hands for 20 seconds or more, they are the most effective way to keep germs and bacteria at bay, keeping you happy and healthy.
